Our client is a Dubai-based technology company specializing in FinTech. They're looking for Sr Finance Executive for their team in Dubai.
The Senior Finance Executive (SFE) will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations across the business and its regional offices, including financial planning and analysis, budget management, forecasting, and investments. This role requires a strong leadership presence with the ability to collaborate across departments to drive financial performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
S/he will therefore play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, compliance and financial management policy development, review, implementation, adherence, and controls.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Commerce or any other relevant field
- At least five (5) years of experience in a finance and/or accounting function within the Fintech/IT Software Services, either in East/West Africa/Asia/UAE, with demonstrable experience in managing a diverse range of stakeholders while deploying various regional standards of accounting in a multi-regional business
- Professional Accounting Certification, such as CMA, CPA, ACCA will be an advantage
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting techniques
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills
- In-depth understanding of GAAP and IFRS
- Awareness of business trends
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to payroll, income tax, and other relevant taxes is essential
- Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical, to staff members and clients in a clear and concise manner
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent team coordination and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
