Job Purpose
- We are seeking a dedicated and organized Senior Fleet Specialist to oversee our fleet operations in El Gouna. This role will involve managing the vehicles and drivers, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. The Senior Fleet Specialist will handle driver requests, manage days off, and calculate daily allowances, while addressing any on-ground issues that may arise
Responsibilities
- Fleet Management: Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and logistics
- Driver Management: Supervise and support drivers, address their requests, manage days off, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Daily Allowances: Calculate and process daily allowances for drivers, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution
- On-Ground Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for any operational issues that arise, providing timely solutions to maintain service quality
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all fleet operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among drivers
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on fleet operations, including vehicle usage, driver performance, and maintenance records for management review
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management software.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Detail-oriented and proactive.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
