Job Description

About Tamm

Tamm is building the first creator-commerce platform in Saudi Arabia. We help YouTubers, streamers, podcasters, and digital creators go from audience to brand in days, not months.

Creators shouldn't have to design products, negotiate with factories, manage imports, handle certifications, or figure out logistics. They should be creating. We take full ownership of the commerce side so they can stay focused on what they do best.

Here's what creators get with Tamm:

  • A no-code website builder to launch a branded online store
  • A digital product builder connected to real manufacturing
  • Warehousing, packaging, and last-mile delivery, handled
  • A single dashboard to manage orders, customers, financials, and operations

Every system behind Tamm, from factory management to warehouse operations, is built in-house. No third-party shortcuts. Full control over quality, speed, and the creator experience.

We're backed by a 20M SAR investment with a 30+ person team, and currently in beta launch (invite-only) with a select group of creators using the platform live.

How We Think About AI at Tamm

This isn't a checkbox on our job listing. It's how we build.

We believe the future of software isn't about writing more code, and it's not about being replaced by AI agents. It's about building systems where AI agents work at maximum efficiency, and then continuously improving those systems. Every person at Tamm is expected to work alongside AI as a core part of their workflow, not as an afterthought.

As a Frontend Engineer, this means you understand the specific limitations AI agents face when building UI: layout edge cases, interaction flows that don't work out of the box, accessibility nuances, and visual polish that requires human judgment. Your job is to build structured workflows and design systems that allow AI agents to produce meaningful, production-ready interfaces. You define the constraints, the component boundaries, and the testing patterns that make AI-generated frontend code actually shippable.

What You'll Build

You won't just build pages. You'll shape and scale the interfaces that connect pixels to physical products:

  • The full shopping experience: product browsing, search and filtering, product detail pages with variant selection, cart management, checkout flow, payment integration, and order tracking. This is the core of e-commerce, and it needs to feel fast, intuitive, and seamless across devices.
  • A no-code website builder used by creators to launch real brands
  • A digital product manufacturing interface that translates design inputs into factory output
  • Operational dashboards reflecting live warehouse and production states
  • Financial and order management systems handling real money and real logistics
  • Internal tools used by factory and warehouse teams every day

What You'll Work With

Core: React (18+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS Modules / Tailwind / Styled Components

State: Redux, Zustand, React Query

Tooling: Vite, ESLint, Prettier, Storybook

Testing: Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library

CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Vercel or similar

Optional: WebSockets, Canvas/WebGL, Monorepos (pnpm, Turborepo), Design Systems

What You'll Own

  • Design and develop responsive, accessible, high-performance UIs using React + TypeScript
  • Lead frontend architecture discussions and influence engineering standards
  • Own major feature development from concept to deployment
  • Build and refine structured AI workflows for component generation, testing, and UI iteration, defining the guardrails that make AI-generated frontend code production-ready
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user needs into technical solutions
  • Review code (human and AI-generated), mentor developers, and drive continuous improvement
  • Optimize web apps for performance, SEO, and accessibility
  • Contribute to the evolution of our design system and frontend infrastructure

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years building production-grade frontend applications
  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), React, and TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of web standards, browser APIs, performance tuning, and rendering behavior
  • Experience with responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with frontend architecture patterns: modular design, component libraries, lazy loading
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools in a structured, disciplined way: building repeatable agent workflows for UI generation, identifying where AI falls short on frontend tasks, and designing systems that compensate. This is mandatory, not optional.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Strong Pluses

  • Experience with complex UI features like drag and drop, editors, dashboards, and interactive graphs
  • Experience working on e-commerce platforms, storefronts, or transactional UIs
  • Familiarity with Figma-to-code workflows and design tokens
  • Experience with monorepos or micro-frontends
  • Exposure to animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP) or Canvas/WebGL rendering

Location and Details

  • Onsite in Khobar / Dammam, Saudi Arabia
  • Relocation support available
  • Full-time
