Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise junior accountants and review their daily transactions.
- Prepare and review journal entries, trial balances, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing.
- Handle taxation matters (VAT, WHT, and corporate income tax) and coordinate with tax advisors.
- Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Liaise with external auditors during audits and ensure all requirements are met.
- Monitor and enhance internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Provide recommendations for process improvement and efficiency.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 35 years of relevant accounting experience, including mandatory experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Proven experience in handling taxation and statutory compliance.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to supervise a team and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
