The project:

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

The Senior Governance Manager will play a key role in supporting programme and project leadership through effective governance, reporting, and executive-level communications. The role focuses on producing high-quality management reports and PowerPoint presentations, ensuring clear visibility of performance, risks, and decision points across complex programmes.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of governance reporting across programmes and portfolios.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level PowerPoint presentations for steering committees, boards, and senior stakeholders.
  • Produce clear, concise, and accurate monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc reports covering performance, risks, issues, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Ensure all governance materials align with Mace standards, client requirements, and programme controls frameworks.
  • Support governance forums, including agenda preparation, paper coordination, action tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with programme directors, project teams, and PMO functions to gather inputs and translate complex information into clear outcomes.
  • Maintain consistency in reporting formats and messaging across projects and workstreams.
  • Identify gaps or risks in governance processes and recommend improvements.
  • Support audits, assurance activities, and compliance with contractual and client governance requirements.

You'll need to have:

  • Significant experience in governance, reporting, PMO, or programme controls roles within large, complex programmes (preferably construction, infrastructure, or major capital projects).
  • Strong expertise in PowerPoint, with a proven ability to create clear, executive-ready presentations.
  • Advanced written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for senior audiences.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Good understanding of programme and project delivery environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and deadline management.
  • Experience working in KSA or the Middle East is highly desirable.
  • 15 years of relevant experience required.
