Job Description

We are seeking a hybrid Senior Graphic Designer & Art Director who combines strong hands-on design expertise with high-level visual direction. This role is responsible for shaping the brand's visual identity, leading creative execution across all touchpoints, and ensuring a cohesive, compelling brand presence across campaigns, retail, and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

Branding & Design Execution

  • Lead the design and development of brand identity assets, including logos, packaging, marketing collateral, digital content, and showroom visuals.
  • Produce high-quality visual designs aligned with brand strategy, storytelling, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and evolution of all visual touchpoints while maintaining and enhancing brand guidelines.

Art Direction & Visual Leadership

  • Define and drive the overall visual direction of campaigns, photoshoots, content, and retail experiences in alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Translate creative concepts into clear visual systems, mood boards, styling direction, layouts, and storytelling frameworks.
  • Direct and supervise photoshoots, content production, and visual executions to ensure strong aesthetic quality and brand coherence.
  • Review and approve final creative outputs across digital, print, and in-store environments.
  • Create Storyboards for our Intel Content framework

Collaboration & Project Management

  • Collaborate closely with teams to produce creative materials that support campaigns and brand narratives.
  • Manage multiple creative projects from concept through execution while meeting deadlines and business objectives.
  • Work with external vendors, photographers, stylists, to deliver high-quality creative outputs.

Private Label & Product Art Direction

  • Lead the creative direction and visual identity of Go Native's Private Label collections, ensuring a clear and recognizable design signature across seasons.
  • Collaborate closely with the Fashion Design Lead to align on:
  • Collection themes and seasonal concepts
  • Color palettes, patterns, prints, and trims
  • Fabric storytelling and product mood direction
  • Develop and oversee the execution of private label branding assets, including:
  • Hangtags, labels, packaging, and care tag
  • Size labels, woven labels, and embroidery/print placements
  • Collection naming, visual codes, and product identity system
  • Create seasonal Moodboards, Concept Boards, and Visual Direction Decks to guide product and marketing execution.
  • Art direct private label lookbooks, campaign shoots, and e-commerce product photography, ensuring styling and presentation match the brand positioning.
  • Ensure strong alignment between product design and marketing outputs by directing:
  • Product launch visuals
  • Key visuals for private label campaigns
  • Social media storytelling for collections

Team Development & Innovation

  • Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering creative growth and strong design standards within the team.
  • Stay updated on global design, fashion, and visual communication trends to keep the brand fresh, relevant, and competitive.
  • Contribute to long-term brand building through innovative visual ideas and creative experimentation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design with a strong focus on branding, preferably in fashion or retail.
  • Proven experience in art direction, including campaigns, photoshoots, or visual storytelling projects.
  • Exceptional creativity with a refined aesthetic sense and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and relevant design tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing branding systems, campaign visuals, and art direction work.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
