Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Horticulturist PMO Infrastructure Projects to join our team!

In this role, you will support the Road Program by providing expert technical oversight of horticultural design, construction, and sustainability across large-scale infrastructure projects.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reviewing horticultural design submissions, planting strategies, soil specifications, and irrigation concepts.
  • Ensuring compliance with PMO standards, aridregion environmental conditions, and local regulations.
  • Monitoring construction activities and evaluating landscape installation quality on project sites.
  • Diagnosing plant health issues and recommending corrective measures.
  • Coordinating with PMCM teams, landscape architects, irrigation engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives including native planting and water-use efficiency.
  • Preparing technical reports, design review comments, and presentation material.
  • Reviewing nursery operations, plant procurement standards, and material compliance.
  • Contributing to long-term landscape performance and maintenance strategies.

What Required Skills You'll Bring


  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience on large-scale infrastructure or public realm projects.
  • Expertise in arid-region horticulture, including species selection and landscape performance.
  • Strong knowledge of soil science, irrigation systems, and plant physiology.
  • Experience in design review and construction monitoring of horticultural works.
  • Familiarity with local Authority Standards and Environmental Regulations.
