About the Company: Legacy, a Hassan Allam Holding company, is responsible for operating the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced Senior HSE Engineer for health, safety, and environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee HSE compliance, conduct inspections, mentor staff, and ensure a safety culture in Legacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate HSE activities across Legacy managed sites to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and develop prevention strategies.
- Monitor and ensure the proper use of PPE, safety signage, and emergency response procedures.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to diverse contractor's HSE components and site personnel regarding safety practices and procedures.
- Develop and review HSE plans, procedures, and reports to ensure alignment with company requirements.
- Coordinate safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for staff and contractors.
- Promote continuous improvement in safety performance and environmental sustainability.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reporting for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field.
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in HSE, preferably within management and development projects.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE standards and regulations.
- Leadership skills and the ability to influence safety culture.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
