JASARA PMC is seeking a Senior HSE Manager to spearhead our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of HSE strategies and programs across all projects
- Establish and enforce HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
- Provide guidance and support to project teams, enhancing their HSE competency and awareness
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote HSE initiatives and ensure alignment with project objectives
- Design and implement training programs to develop staff and contractor capabilities in HSE matters
- Prepare and present HSE performance reports to management and stakeholders
- Stay informed on developments in HSE legislation, technologies, and industry trends
- Foster a culture of safety within the organization through effective communication and engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction or project management industry
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are desirable
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, best practices, and risk management principles
- Proven experience in leading safety programs and achieving compliance with regulatory standards
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to mitigate risks
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
