Job Description

Position Summary: The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the company's human resources functions. This individual will be responsible for various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Source and screen candidates using various methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking).
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidate suitability for open positions.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process, including paperwork, orientation, and training.

Employee Relations:

  • Handle employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance review processes.
  • Provide support for employee performance evaluations and goal setting.
  • Identify training and development opportunities for employees.

Benefits Administration:

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off policies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable benefits regulations.

HR Policies and Procedures:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR generalist or related role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HR management systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS).
