Position Summary: The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the company's human resources functions. This individual will be responsible for various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Source and screen candidates using various methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking).
- Conduct interviews and assess candidate suitability for open positions.
- Coordinate the onboarding process, including paperwork, orientation, and training.
Employee Relations:
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in resolving conflicts and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance review processes.
- Provide support for employee performance evaluations and goal setting.
- Identify training and development opportunities for employees.
Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off policies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable benefits regulations.
HR Policies and Procedures:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist or related role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HR management systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS).
