About the role
We run a call center operating on a US shift and we're looking for a strong HR Operations & Payroll Specialist to fully own the HR function for a team of around 50 people.
This is not an entry-level role and not a recruitment-only position.
We need someone practical, organized, and reliable someone who understands how call centers actually work and can handle HR operations, payroll inputs, personnel, and recruitment without constant supervision.
What you'll be responsible for
-Managing attendance, lateness, absences, and time-off
-Handling warning letters, deductions, and disciplinary actions
-Managing resignations, terminations, and exit documentation
-Keeping employee files complete, clean, and up to date
-Acting as the main HR contact for team leaders and operations
-Payroll & Personnel (critical part of the role)
-Preparing accurate payroll inputs (attendance, deductions, new hires, resignations, variable pay)
-Coordinating with finance to ensure payroll is on time and error-free
-Handling contracts, personnel records, and documentation
-Managing social insurance files and labor compliance requirements
-Recruitment & Onboarding
-Coordinating hiring needs with operations
-Screening and interviewing call center candidates
-Managing onboarding and handover to ops
-Tracking 30-day retention and early attrition
-Replacing attrition quickly when needed
-Employee Relations
-Handling employee issues and complaints professionally
-Conducting investigations when required
-Making sure all actions are properly documented and fair
-Weekly updates: headcount, attendance issues, hiring status
-Monthly summaries: attrition, payroll inputs, hiring efficiency
-Flagging problems early instead of reacting late
-36 years of HR experience in a call center or BPO
-Real hands-on experience with:
HR operations
Payroll inputs
Personnel & compliance
High-volume recruitment
Solid understanding of Egyptian labor law
Good Excel skills (attendance & payroll sheets)
Able to work US shift
Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
Comfortable working on-site in Maadi

-You've never worked with payroll inputs or personnel files
-Salary: 15,000 20,000 EGP (based on experience)
