Your Role
A Senior IT Engineer, is a hands-on leadership role responsible for owning and executing all technology functions across KSA operations. The position will ensure stable, secure and scalable IT systems, support new office setup, and manage day-to-day IT operations across multiple locations, working under guidance of Business Development Manager (IT-KSA).
The incumbent will be responsible for the following
IT OPERATIONS and INFRASTRACTURE
- Manage overall IT operations across KSA locations, including KSA Head Office and projects sites.
- Oversee network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, connectivity, firewalls, VPN's, Wi-Fi)
- Manage servers (on-premises and/or cloud), virtualization, backups and disaster receovery.
- Ensure high availability and performance of all IT systems
SYSTEMS and APPLICATIONS
- Support and manage business applications, ERP systems, and other enterprise software
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system support and enhancements
- Ensure system upgrades, patches, and deployments are executed smoothly
IT SECURITY and COMPLIANCE
- Implement and maintain IT security policies and controls
- Monitor and manage cybersecurity risks, data protection and access controls
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and relevant regulatory requirements in KSA
END-USER SUPPORT
- Oversee IT support services for end users across locations
- Ensure timely resolution of hardware, software and connectivity issues
- Establish and improve IT service processes and SLA's
NEW OFFICE and PROJECT SUPPORT
- Lead IT setup for new office locations from ground zero
- Coordinate IT infrastructure and system requirements for new projects
- Ensure seamless IT integration during office expansions or relocations
VENDOR and STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
- Liaise with IT vendors, system integrators, and service providers
- Manage contracts, licenses, and renewals related to IT systems
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align IT services with business needs
DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING
- Maintain IT documentation, policies and procedures
- Provide regular status reports on IT operations
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant IT experience with exposure to enterprise IT environments
- Experience in managing IT operations across multiple sites is preferred
Education
- Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science or any relevant course
- Certifications in Microsoft, CISCO, ITIL, Security will be an added advantage
Skills and Competencies
- Strong end-to-end IT systems and infrastructure knowledge
- Hands-on experience with servers, networks and enterprise systems
- Sound understanding of IT security best practices
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities
- Good communication and coordination skills
