Senior Innovation Engineer

Khazna was founded in 2012 and has rapidly grown into the leading and trusted wholesale data center provider in the Middle East and North Africa region.

As our footprint expands across the UAE and internationally, we are strengthening our Engineering & Innovation capabilities and are now looking for a Senior Innovation Engineer to join our team.

Reporting into the Engineering function, this role will be accountable for driving Khazna's engineering innovation agenda across the full asset lifecycle. The Senior Innovation Engineer will lead the identification, development, validation, and deployment of advanced engineering solutions that enhance performance, resilience, sustainability, and cost efficiency across our data center portfolio.

The role combines:

Ownership of highimpact innovation initiatives across design, construction, commissioning, and operations

Leadership of advanced pilots, proofs of concept, and technology evaluations

Governance over engineering innovation standards, lifecycle value assessments, and risk management frameworks

The Senior Innovation Engineer will act as a technical thought partner to crossfunctional teams, ensuring that emerging technologies and engineering advancements are translated into scalable, operationally viable, and valuedriven solutions aligned with Khazna's longterm asset strategy.

Minimum eligibility requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 812+ years of engineering experience in data centers (most preferred), critical infrastructure, industrial, or largescale technical environments
• Proven track record leading complex pilots, technology evaluations, or innovation/optimisation initiatives
• Strong expertise in engineering analysis, lifecycle assessments, business case development, and performance modelling
• Deep understanding of project delivery, commissioning, and operational environments
• Ability to translate emerging technologies into practical, scalable engineering solutions
• Strong technical documentation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with sustainability, energy optimisation, or digital engineering tools is an advantage
