Role Purpose -
We are hiring for the role of a Senior Engineer Integration. This is an Individual Contributor role reporting into the SEVP Credit+ Operations.
Responsibilities we entrust you with -
- Lead end-to-end integration of payment gateways including APIs, SDKs, and other platform tools.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to scope, test, and deploy payment solutions.
- Manage relationships with payment service providers and ensure SLAs, compliance, and performance are maintained.
- Monitor payment flows, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements in transaction success rates.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in digital payments.
- Ensure full PCI-DSS compliance and other security best practices.
- Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvement
- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and change with our growing business.
- A passion for problem solving with strong analytical capabilities.
- As a part of the SRE organization, you will be required to respond to incidents in a timely manner.
What matters in this role -
- 6-8 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related discipline
- Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience in Tech support and Site Reliability Engineering role
- Good with Linux/Unix command line
- Strong troubleshooting skills through server logs and data analysis on production
- Good Exposure on Jira, Confluence & GitHub
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have experience in the payment gateway domain
