Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality interior design solutions that meet client needs and align with our company's standards. This role requires strong leadership, advanced design skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Design Projects: Oversee and manage all phases of the design process, including concept development, space planning, material and furniture selection, and detailed design documentation.
- Client Management: Engage with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget. Present design concepts and revisions, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior designers and support staff, providing guidance, feedback, and training to foster professional development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design elements and adherence to project timelines.
- Project Management: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Design Documentation: Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and presentations using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
- Material and Vendor Coordination: Source and specify materials, finishes, and furnishings. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Review design work to ensure it meets the company's quality standards and adheres to applicable codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and best practices. Incorporate new ideas into design solutions.
- Business Development: Assist in developing proposals and presentations for potential clients, contributing to the growth of the business.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential, commercial and hospitality projects within the UAE, GCC or MENA region.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite). Knowledge of 3D rendering tools is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading design teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to create precise and accurate design documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex design challenges.
