We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join an international design consultancy based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong technical design expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to confidently engage with clients. This role focuses on delivering luxury, high-end residential and mixed-use developments, from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects from concept design through detailed design and IFC
- Develop and oversee high-quality technical drawing packages, specifications, and schedules
- Act as a client-facing lead, managing presentations, design reviews, and coordination meetings
- Lead, mentor, and manage interior design teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Coordinate closely with architects, MEP, FF&E specialists, contractors, and external consultants
- Deliver luxury design solutions aligned with brand standards, project briefs, and client expectations
- Oversee material selection, finishes, bespoke joinery, and FF&E suitable for high-end projects
- Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, building codes, and project standards
- Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and samples during construction phases
- Maintain design integrity throughout project execution
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Minimum 812 years of professional experience, preferably within the UAE or international markets
- Proven experience in luxury high-end residential and mixed-use developments
- Strong technical background with demonstrated experience delivering detailed design and IFC packages
- Experience leading teams and coordinating multidisciplinary consultants
- Confident in managing client presentations and design workshops
- Familiarity with regional materials, suppliers, and authority processes is highly desirable
Software & Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong knowledge of BIM workflows is an advantage
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Ability to review and coordinate technical drawings and specifications
