Position Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our multidisciplinary design team in Dubai. The role involves leading the creative direction of interior design projects across hospitality, branded residential, commercial, mixed-use, entertainment, and healthcare sectors. The successful candidate will oversee design development from concept through execution, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and sustainable design outcomes aligned with client and project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative direction of interior design projects from concept development through client presentations.
- Develop innovative and cohesive design solutions aligned with project vision and brand identity.
- Prepare space planning concepts, program documentation, and design strategies.
- Produce mood boards, design schemes, visualizations, and presentation materials.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Participate in peer reviews of internal and third-party design submissions.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design intent is fully integrated into project delivery.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a strong, collaborative design culture.
- Research and specify materials, finishes, FF&E, and interior systems.
- Support project delivery through design development, documentation, and execution stages.
- Integrate sustainability principles into design strategies and solutions across all project stages.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.
- 8-10 years of professional experience in hospitality, commercial, retail, or mixed-use interior design projects.
- Proven experience working within a Lead Design Consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of design development, detailing, and project delivery processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E, and specifications.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit for design authoring and documentation.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Rhino, and Navisworks is advantageous.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination processes.
- Experience using visualization tools such as V-Ray, Enscape, or 3ds Max.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working on projects within the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong design leadership capability within multidisciplinary environments.
- Passion for innovation, sustainability, and high-quality design delivery.
