Senior Interior Designer

About The Role:

We are working with an internationally recognised design practice renowned for delivering prestigious high-end hospitality projects across the globe. As their UAE team continues to grow, they are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join them in Abu Dhabi and take a pivotal role in the delivery of a landmark five-star hotel project.

This position is focused on the construction phase and will collaborate with consultants, contractors, and project teams across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and international level. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to maintain design intent and quality throughout the construction process and will oversee all aspects of interior design delivery, including conducting regular site inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations
• Review and comment on drawings, layouts, material specifications, and FF&E selections
• Respond to RFIs and oversee contractor submittals, providing clear design direction
• Conduct inspections, oversee quality control, and resolve technical or execution challenges
• Lead design and coordination meetings, keeping stakeholders aligned
• Prepare progress and compliance reports, keeping leadership fully updated
• Maintain strong awareness of local suppliers and global premium brands

Key Skills/Experience:

• Degree in architecture, interior design, or related field
• 10+ years experience, with at least 5 years in senior roles delivering luxury hospitality projects in the UAE
• Demonstrable experience working on luxury hotel projects
• Strong detailing knowledge across joinery, millwork, and built-in elements
• Excellent leadership and coordination skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of UAE codes and authority requirements
• Awareness of international hospitality trends and ability to bring fresh insight
