Role Purpose
Umq Co. This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for leading the design process, developing creative concepts, preparing space planning layouts detailed construction drawings and FF&E selections, while coordinating closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery aligned with fit-out standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative interior design concepts aligned with client requirements.
- Prepare space planning layouts, mood boards, and material selections.
- Produce detailed construction drawings and design documentation.
- Manage FF&E specifications and coordination with suppliers.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers.
- Participate in client presentations and design reviews.
- Ensure designs align with project timelines, budgets, and fit-out standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in interior design, preferably in commercial or fit-out projects.
- Strong skills in Space Planning, Architecture, and Construction Drawings.
- Expertise in Interior Design and FF&E selection.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (3D visualization tools are a plus).
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and furniture specifications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
