Job description:
We're looking for a Senior Inventory Control & Procurement Specialist to join our growing Supply Chain team.
In this role, you'll make sure the right materials are always available at the right time, cost, and quality.
You'll handle both purchasing and inventory control, combining hands-on execution with smart forecasting and data accuracy.
It's a role for someone who enjoys planning ahead, solving daily challenges, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full purchasing process including requisitions, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up.
- Forecast material needs based on historical consumption, project timelines, and demand trends to ensure proactive planning.
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing overstock or shortages.
- Record all stock movements and purchase orders accurately in the SAP system.
- Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Evaluate supplier performance (cost, quality, and delivery) and maintain an updated approved vendor list.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse and finance teams to align purchasing, receiving, and payment processes.
- What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
- 35 years of experience in procurement and inventory control (preferably in an industrial or project-based company).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills with attention to detail.
- Organized, process-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
