Senior IT Applications Support Specialist (LIMS)

The IT Applications Support will be reporting to the IT Manager and providing functional

support for all business applications. As an IT Applications Support, you will be interacting

with the users of the Lab, Manufacturing, Plasma Logistics center and Donor centers. This

role is based at Tolip office in New Cairo, but it might be required to travel part of the time

at different facilities.

Key responsibility:

Manage and document functional tickets for the different business applications.

Provide 1st level of support for different business applications.

Interact with the Spain teams to get level 2 and level 3 support when needed.

Proactively identify possible issues on the applications, working to fix them before they

become a problem.

LAB:

Learn in deeply detail the processes and flows of the LABS in the LIMS system.

Execute specific tasks to cover level 1 troubleshooting and incident resolution for the LAB.

Train final users when needed.

Interact with external LAB systems providers.

Test the local configurations in the Egypt LIMS.

Support of the deployment of new releases implemented by the Grifols IT team.

SAP:

Learn in detail all the SAP processes for Egypt.

Train final users when needed.

Help in the identification and rollout of new functionalities.

BECS (Donors Management System):

Learn in deeply detail the processes and flows of the Donor Center process in the BECS.

Train final users when needed.

Help in the rollout of new donor centers.

Test the local configuration for the BECS system.

Support of the deployment of new releases implemented by the Grifols IT team.

Translating business requirements into technical ones.

Obsession by accuracy data and automate process.

Ability to perform service reports. Mitigate risks that might affect donor centers

performance or GEPD image.

Academic & Professional experience required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Bioscience.

Minimum 3 years experience in application support in healthcare facilities.

Minimum 5 years experience in IT in multi-national organization.

LAB experience preferred in LIMS systems.

SAP experience preferred.

Good command in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Experience in programming.

Autonomous and ability to learn new coding languages and databases.

SQL Experience.

Experience in ERP system; SAP experience preferred.
