The Senior Project Manager leads the delivery of complex technical initiatives within Corporate IT, ensuring disciplined execution, effective coordination, and high-quality outcomes.
The role combines a strong IT background with delivery leadership and controlled ownership, with accountability extending through delivery, go-live, and early stabilization, followed by a structured transition to long-term application ownership roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery & Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects within approved scope, timeline, and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and schedules.
- Ensure delivery aligns with approved objectives, success criteria, and quality expectations.
Technical Oversight
- Understand solution architecture, integrations, and technical dependencies.
- Ensure implementations comply with enterprise architecture, security, and IT standards.
- Validate delivery approaches and challenge vendor designs when required.
Cross-Department Coordination
- Coordinate with IT teams and business departments to align responsibilities and dependencies.
- Follow up on action items and ensure timely closure.
- Facilitate effective communication and decision-making across stakeholders.
Vendor & Delivery Ownership
- Monitor vendor delivery against agreed milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure vendor outputs are complete, integrated, documented, and ready for acceptance.
Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify and manage delivery, technical, and dependency-related risks.
- Track issues and ensure effective resolution.
- Assess and manage change requests, including impact on scope, timeline, cost, and solution integrity.
Governance, Reporting & Executive Communication
- Ensure adherence to delivery governance, policies, and standards.
- Prepare periodic Corporate IT status reports, dashboards, and action tracking logs, and follow up on actions across stakeholders.
- Develop executive-level presentations covering progress, risks, decisions, and required actions.
Go-Live, Stabilization & Ownership Transition
- Ensure readiness for go-live and deployment.
- Own delivery execution, coordination, and early post-go-live stabilization.
- Lead structured handover to the Application Specialist / Product role, transferring knowledge and ownership for long-term operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management or IT delivery roles.
- PMP certification preferred (PRINCE2 / Agile certifications are an advantage).
