Summary

The Senior IT Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic client accounts, driving revenue growth, and strengthening long-term customer relationships within the IT solutions and services sector. This role focuses on understanding client business needs, delivering tailored technology solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while contributing to the organization's sales strategy and business expansion. The position acts as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of services and achievement of sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Understand client business objectives and align IT solutions accordingly.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure client needs are addressed effectively and professionally.
  • Account Management
  • Manage assigned accounts and oversee the full account lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong engagement with stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Ensure delivery commitments are met according to agreed timelines and scope.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Sales Strategy Development
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities within current client portfolios.
  • Support business expansion initiatives and revenue growth plans.
  • Collaborate with presales and technical teams to design competitive solutions.
  • Client Satisfaction & Issue Resolution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key client communications.
  • Manage escalations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze customer data and sales performance metrics.
  • Forecast account performance and revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and account reports.

Provide insights and recommendations based on account analytics

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in IT sales, account management, or technology solutions sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, systems integration, or enterprise technology services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
