Senior Java Backend Developer (Spring Boot)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend systems and developing high-performance microservices that power modern digital platforms.

You will collaborate closely with architects, developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot

Build and maintain microservices-based architectures

Integrate backend systems with internal and third-party services

Ensure system scalability, reliability, and high performance

Design and optimize database schemas and queries

Implement security, authentication, and data protection best practices

Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Work closely with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments

Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews

Requirements

5+ years of experience in backend development using Java

Strong experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs

Experience with Microservices Architecture

Knowledge of PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

Understanding of authentication frameworks such as JWT or OAuth2

Experience working in Agile development environments
