Senior Landscape Architect

Lavita Landscape is a premier design-and-build firm specializing in luxury outdoor living spaces. We are looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to lead our design team and bridge the gap between creative concepts and technical execution.

The Senior Landscape Architect leads the design, planning, and execution of residential landscape and commercial projects. This role blends creative design with technical expertise, project management, and client leadership. The position is suited for someone who can drive high level concepts, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while delivering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual design, detailed design, and documentation of landscape projects for public and private clients.

• Prepare site analysis, master plans, planting plans, grading and drainage drawings, and construction details.

• Manage projects from early feasibility through construction completion. This includes scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and stakeholder communication.

• Conduct site visits, assess existing conditions, and provide clear direction during construction administration.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, planners, and environmental consultants to align landscape solutions with broader project goals.

• Present design concepts and technical information to clients, municipalities, and community groups.

• Guide and mentor junior landscape architects and technicians.

• Oversee the preparation of tender documents, specifications, and cost estimates.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients and contribute to business development when appropriate.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.

3 to 5 years of professional experience with a proven portfolio.

Strong proficiency in CAD, 3D modeling, rendering software, and standard design tools.

Solid understanding of planting design, construction materials, grading etc

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams independently.
