Senior Landscape Engineer

Supervise and inspect Landscape and associated activities to ensure the adequate maintenance, health and growing characteristics are completed for Landscape onsite and as per Client standards and contractual agreements pertaining to landscaping.

Inspect, continually, the assigned landscapes in order to ensure health and presentation in alignment with Aspire Zone standards and guidelines

Inspect landscape maintenance performed by contractor manpower by carrying out a daily site assessment in order to ensure compliance with maintenance specifications in contracts agreements, and report any deficiencies for immediate action

Make maintenance programs for contractors to follow and implement

Inspect work in progress and completed projects in order to ensure adherence to plans, standards and specifications for landscaping thus recommending project acceptance

Report any foreseen landscape components which require rectification or change outside the scope of any current contract or scope of work in order to ensure landscaping needs are met

Design and review landscape plans with identification of tress, shrubs ground covers and turf areas

Supervise layout and installation of irrigation system

Observe location and quantity of plants materials and grading

Prepare inspection reports in order to keep track of inspection activities and keep superiors abreast of progress and deficiencies, if any

Give site evaluations concerning the general condition of the landscape and make recommendations to improve maintenance practices

Monitor and record amounts of material used in order to contribute adequate control over costs and spending

Systems & Processes

Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, to ensure work is completed out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a world class service

Ensure cost-efficient usage of all applicable resources to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense

Share ideas and viewpoints to further streamline processes, thus driving efficiency and improvements across the organization .

Experience

8 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry

Education and Certification

Bachelor's degree with (Specialised Certificate preferred) in Landscape Architecture and / or Sports Turf Management

Specialized courses in engineering, horticulture, landscape architecture or similar field

Job specific Technical Skills

Good knowledge of MS Office

Language

Required English (Proficient)
