We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Landscape Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading construction company. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative landscape solutions that enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of our projects while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices. Your expertise will be pivotal in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, and delivering high-quality landscape engineering solutions that meet client expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the design and development of landscape architecture and engineering projects.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate landscape solutions into overall project designs.
- Conduct site assessments and prepare detailed landscape plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Manage project timelines and budgets while coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal landscape design regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct research on new landscape materials and technologies to innovate design solutions.
- Mentor junior landscape engineers and provide guidance on technical and design issues.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in landscape design and engineering within the construction industry.
- Professional licensure as a Landscape Architect (PLA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, ecology, and environmental regulations related to landscaping.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
