A leading Middle East property developer, renowned for delivering high-end luxury developments across the UAE and into Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel Construction (58 years PQE) to join its Dubai-based legal team.

Position Description
Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, you will provide legal support across a broad range of construction and development matters, with exposure to both front-end and back-end work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts, consultancy agreements, procurement documents and project-related agreements.
- Advising on disputes, claims management, contract interpretation and resolution strategies.
- Supporting the delivery of high-profile, landmark developments across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
- Working closely with senior business leaders, project teams and external counsel.
- Providing risk management advice and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking candidates who bring:
- 58 years PQE in construction law, ideally gained with a top-tier law firm and/or in-house environment.
- Solid experience in both front-end and contentious construction matters. Our client will consider a front-end solicitor with only limited exposure to disputes.
- Background in major property development, infrastructure, or large-scale real estate projects ideal, as well as project delivery.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a large, high-performing legal team.
Our client is open to candidates in the UAE, Australia, New Zealand or London.
