What This Role Is About

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel, based in Jeddah, to lead legal advisory, governance, and compliance for a large and fast-paced FMCG organization.

You will provide strategic legal guidance on commercial contracts, regulatory matters, corporate governance, employment issues, and risk management while ensuring full compliance with Saudi laws and industry standards.

This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional with strong commercial acumen, excellent judgment, and the ability to influence senior leadership on critical legal and business decisions.

You will draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, support cross-functional teams, oversee legal risk assessments, and manage relationships with external counsel.

Your ability to balance legal rigour with practical business solutions will be central to enabling responsible growth and protecting the organization's interests.

The Client's Definition of the Ideal Fit

• 812 years of legal experience, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods, or a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi commercial law, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance.
• Proven experience managing contracts, legal compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to advise senior leaders with clarity, confidence, and sound judgment.
• Excellent legal drafting and communication skills, with strong command of both Arabic and English.
• Experience working with regulators and external legal firms.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
