The project:
This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
As senior logistics manager, you will lead all construction logistics strategy and on-the-ground execution across a major, high-profile programme within Qiddiya. You will ensure the safe, efficient, and seamless movement of people, materials, equipment, and information across a complex, multi-contract environment. The role requires strong coordination, proactive planning, and the ability to influence stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and delivery performance.
You'll be responsible for:
Develop and implement the programme-wide construction logistics strategy, aligned with delivery milestones and site wide execution plans.
Plan and coordinate access, site routes, laydown areas, storage zones, and logistics infrastructure to support multi-contractor operations.
Forecast logistics demands, ensuring adequate resourcing, plant, and materials management solutions.
Lead day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and labour.
Oversee traffic management, delivery scheduling, waste removal, off-site consolidation, security protocols, and site support services.
Implement robust control systems for vehicle movements, permits, gate processes, lifting operations, and restricted zones.
Coordinate closely with construction, HSE, commercial, planning, and design teams to align logistics with overall programme needs.
Manage interfaces with multiple contractors, ensuring compliance with logistics plans and resolving conflicts or access issues promptly.
Champion best-in-class health, safety, and wellbeing practices across all logistics activities.
Ensure strict compliance with method statements, risk assessments, site rules, and delivery protocols.
Monitor contractor performance, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and dashboards for logistics progress, KPIs, and risk status.
You'll need to have:
Degree qualified in engineering, construction management, logistics, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience delivering construction logistics on major, complex, multi-contractor developments-preferably within large-scale infrastructure or giga-project environments.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Proven capability in logistics planning, site coordination, operational management, and contractor oversight.
Deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements in large-scale construction settings.
Experience working within a programme management or delivery partner environment is highly advantageous.
