JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for all Security Systems operation, maintenance work execution, testing, and hand-over to Clients. Ensure that all required infra-structure needs are available/ready and this cover: Networking, CCTV, ACS, IDS and power requirements to ensure smooth operations of all systems on site.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics or Electronics and telecommunication or a general IT degree with Physics Background.
- Certification Cisco CCNA, CCNP, BCNE, CCTV (Milestone, Genetec, Axis etc.), ACS (LENEL, KERISYS, PAXTON, etc.), Biometrics, Barriers, Bollards, Road blocker, Spike bumps, ANPR, video analytics etc.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 3 years where he/ she is exposed to all security systems disciplines on total or turn-around projects.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
- Very good communication and technical hands-on skills;
- Very good command of English / Good command of computer skills
- Good Project Management skills / Good people management skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily monitoring of fault logs & performing immediate fault identification.
- Liaison with various stakeholders (Client, IT, FM, AP, Site Resources, MVP) to ensure fault
- rectification.
- Fault root cause analysis & reporting.
- Identification of recurring issues recommending remedial actions & ensuring that these are
- performed when doing PPM's or attending Callouts etc.
- Completing records of all faults & PPM's and Callouts.
- Ensuring that all existing systems are properly connected to the relevant Control Room /
- Security Office.
- Maintaining all System SUP's ensuring that all firmware, security patches etc are applied.
- Ensuring all configurations are uniformly applied across the portfolio so as to ensure that
- functionality of the system is optimized.
- Maintaining end-user password & security protocols as agreed with client.
- Advise client of enhancements and additional functionality offered by new firmware upgrades
- Perform end-user refresher training if requested/required by the client.
- Maintain and administer security systems networks and related computing environments,
- including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Implement network security measures as per IT standards and procedures in order to protect
- data, software, and hardware
- Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of the entire systems and
- networks, and to coordinate system network access and use.
- Perform routine system network startup and shutdown procedures and maintain control
- records.
- Monitor systems performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made,
- and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
- Maintain logs related to systems network functions, as well as maintenance and repair
- records.
- Keep communicating with technicians during PPM's and Callouts.
- Manages technicians towards actual implementation at site and oversee, through the work
- of senior technicians, collecting the daily progress report sketched on the shop drawing
- issued to the Senior Technicians also advising an alternative plan if any changes found
- during work implementations.
- ME will be fully responsible for creating the test reports based on cabling, terminations, power management, shop drawing updating based on site amendment(s) and inspections.
- ME has to complete service reports for the current job, additional and variation work any troubleshooting as well on hardware and software.
- Oversees emergency breakdowns rectification and intervention based on expertise of the system known to the ME.
