Job Description

We are partnering with a leading, diversified organization with a significant footprint across retail and consumer-facing assets. The business is seeking a senior professional to lead the performance, leasing strategy, and optimization of a large-scale retail property portfolio.

Role Overview

This role will drive the commercial success of a multi-site retail asset portfolio, with accountability for leasing strategy, tenant mix, asset performance, and long-term value creation. The position requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution across leasing, operations, and portfolio optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Commercial Strategy

  • Define and execute leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue performance
  • Lead negotiations for new leases, renewals, and commercial terms
  • Curate tenant mix aligned with footfall, positioning, and long-term asset value

Asset & Portfolio Performance

  • Drive financial performance across assets, including rental income, yields, and cost optimization
  • Monitor portfolio KPIs and identify value enhancement opportunities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and support investment decisions for new sites

Tenant & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with key tenants, brokers, and partners
  • Ensure high tenant retention and satisfaction levels
  • Act as the key interface between commercial, operations, and finance teams

Operations & Experience

  • Oversee day-to-day asset operations in collaboration with facilities and operations teams
  • Ensure high standards of customer and tenant experience across locations

Market Intelligence & Expansion

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging retail concepts
  • Support expansion through site identification, due diligence, and commercial evaluation

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, and contractual requirements
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on compliance matters

Candidate Profile

  • 10–15 years experience in retail real estate, leasing, or asset management
  • Proven track record managing multi-site retail or commercial property portfolios
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on leasing negotiation experience
  • Experience working with malls, high street retail, or mixed-use developments
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
  • Strong stakeholder management across internal leadership and external partners

Preferred:

  • Exposure to high-growth or multi-brand retail environments
  • Experience in emerging markets or complex regulatory environments
  • Background in financial analysis, valuations, or investment cases
