Job Description

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to appoint a Senior Manager, Group Risk & Compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced governance and compliance professional to join a high-performing regional team, supporting enterprise-wide risk, compliance and control initiatives across multiple markets.

This role offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence governance standards across a complex multinational business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development and enhancement of group-wide compliance, governance and internal control frameworks.
  • Driving initiatives across areas such as anti-bribery & corruption, trade compliance and broader regulatory compliance programmes.
  • Partnering with business leaders across regional markets to identify control gaps, conduct risk assessments and implement practical improvements.
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and recommending enhancements to existing policies and governance practices.
  • Designing and delivering compliance awareness programmes to promote a strong culture of ethics and accountability.
  • Preparing management reports, tracking key risk indicators and ensuring significant issues are escalated appropriately.
  • Contributing to cross-functional risk initiatives, including enterprise risk management, business continuity and other governance-related projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 8-10 years of experience within risk, compliance, governance or internal controls.
  • Experience gained within a multinational organisation, technology, telecommunications or another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, particularly in areas such as anti-bribery & corruption, sanctions, trade compliance or regulatory governance.
  • Exposure to implementing governance, risk or compliance systems and process improvements will be advantageous.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across regional teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset, sound judgement and the ability to balance governance requirements with commercial objectives.
