We are seeking a Senior Manager - Network & Security Engineering for our client in Riyadh. What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and developing the architecture and standards for advanced network security controls, including firewalls, web application firewalls, and Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB).
• Provisioning and de-provisioning network access to applications, infrastructure, and operating systems in line with established policies and procedures.
• Leading and participating in the implementation of robust network security controls across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and users to troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues.
• Actively participating as a member of the Security Incident Response Team, driving the identification, investigation, and resolution of security incidents.
• Managing daily operations of CASB, firewalls, and WAFs to ensure continuous, robust network security.
• Developing and enforcing cybersecurity standards, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices.
• Ensuring continuous monitoring of network performance and security events, enabling proactive incident detection and response.
• Collaborating with IT, risk, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and security requirements.
• Leading the evaluation, configuration, and optimization of network and security tools and platforms.
• Overseeing capacity planning, scalability, and high availability of network services.
• Enforcing and complying with all necessary controls, policies, procedures, and training within departmental activities.
• Performing additional duties related to the nature of the work as assigned by the line manager.

Technical Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Networking and Network Security, including at least 2 years with cloud networking (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Expertise in network technologies: routing, switching, SD-WAN, cloud networking.
• Deep knowledge of security solutions: firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), CASB, WAF.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Security investigation and vulnerability management skills.
• Cloud implementations and troubleshooting complex security issues in cloud environments.
• Industry-recognized certifications (Palo Alto, Fortinet, CASB) preferred.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field from an internationally recognized institution.

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English is required.

Other Requirements

• Experience working within or alongside Agile/Scrum teams is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement.
