Join Our Team: Senior Manager Operational Sourcing at EtihadWE
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Manager Operational Sourcing. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of all operational procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support continuous business operations. The Senior Manager leads a robust team of professionals, including a Manager, Senior Officers, and Officers, to maintain high standards of procurement excellence and supply chain resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the operational sourcing roadmap aligned with the overall Supply Chain Division strategy.
- Oversee the end-to-end operational procurement process, from requisition to purchase order issuance.
- Ensure that all sourcing activities comply with the company's procurement policies, delegated authorities, and local regulations.
- Manage a diverse team consisting of a Manager, Senior Officers, and Officers (approx. 10 staff members).
- Foster a culture of performance and continuous improvement through regular coaching and professional development.
- Optimize workload distribution across the team to ensure rapid response times for operational requirements.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations for operational requirements that fall outside the scope of long-term framework agreements.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing team to transition category strategies into operational execution.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the procurement data within the ERP system.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal business units to ensure their operational needs are met without disruption.
- Monitor vendor performance in collaboration with the Supply Chain Performance & Reporting team to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Resolve complex supplier disputes and escalations related to operational delivery.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline routine sourcing tasks to increase efficiency.
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Lead Time, Cost Savings (Operational), and PO Accuracy to the VP of Supply Chain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is highly desirable.
- 12+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in large-scale utilities, energy, or industrial sectors is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in (SAP) deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles, and expert-level negotiation skills.
