Position Overview
The Partnerships Lead is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that align with Silal's innovation and commercial objectives. This role will lead efforts to build partnerships and strategic collaborations with organizations, academic institutions, and startups that complement Silal's innovation goals, both in terms of research and driving future growth.
Position Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities as Partnerships Lead will include the following:
- Identify potential partners with complementary resources and expertise that align with Silal's innovation objectives and initiatives.
- Develop and execute partnership strategies to expand our reach within the agriculture and food sectors. Negotiate agreements that ensure mutual benefits and foster innovative solutions while generating clear commercial revenue.
- Regularly assess the performance and impact of existing partnerships, tracking key metrics to ensure value creation. Adjust strategies as needed to optimize collaboration and achieve strategic goals.
- Drive partnerships that support our innovation mandate, aiming to establish a revenue-generating center for future initiatives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic partnerships that align with our innovation and revenue growth goals. Lead negotiations and secure collaborations with organizations, startups, and academic institutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape. Proactively identify potential threats to existing partnerships and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Attend industry conferences and events to build relationships, explore new partnership opportunities, and enhance our brand presence.

Position Requirements:
In order to be successful in this role, you should have
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Process Engineering or related field from a recognized and accredited university.
- 8+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related field, ideally within the agriculture or food industries. PMP certification of higher
