Prepare and recommend the strategy for DP World GCC Ports & Terminals in complete alignment with the strategic direction of the GCC region and inputs of GCC VP - Strategy.
- Consolidate research on industry trends, competition and market landscape from Business Intelligence team to support development of Ports & Terminals Strategic Plans.
- Prepare and recommend the strategic plans inclusive of initiatives which enable GCC region Ports & Terminals business to achieve its strategic direction.
- Define Key Performance Indicators and benchmarks which are used to assess the success of GCC Ports & Terminals in meeting its strategic objectives.
- Work with the concerned functions and departments leads to prepare and recommend the business plans inclusive of yearly cost / revenue analysis which describes the manner in which GCC Ports & Terminals will feasibly achieve its strategic objectives.
- Continuously monitor performance of GCC Ports & Terminals based on defined KPIs in the strategic plans and relative to predefined benchmarks.
- Plan, design and oversee the communication, execution and monitoring of GCC Ports & Terminals strategic initiatives and projects.
- Support strategic initiatives owners of GCC Ports & Terminals in effective implementation, monitor deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Recommend areas for improvement or potential risks to Business Excellence and Risk Management team as identified through the formulation or revision of strategic plans of GCC Ports & Terminals.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as assigned by Top Management and VP of Strategy GCC.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Desirable Qualification: MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Work Experience: 6+ years practical on the job experience in strategic planning and 3 years experience in handling supervisory activities.
