At Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC), procurement is a strategic enabler of performance, innovation, and value creation. Operating at scale in a complex, high-demand environment, we are looking for an Emiratisenior procurement leader who can drive commercial excellence, deliver sustainable cost efficiencies, and build strong partnerships across the business and supplier ecosystem.

This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide sourcing strategies, lead high-value negotiations, and embed best-in-class procurement practices aligned to EKFC's long-term strategy.

About the Role

As Senior Manager Procurement, you will lead sourcing, purchasing, and tendering activities across your line of business, ensuring maximum value for money, cost optimisation, and risk mitigation.

You will partner closely with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into effective procurement strategies, while developing a high-performing team and strengthening supplier relationships at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Drive a consistent, strategic approach to sourcing, purchasing, and tendering, delivering measurable cost savings and value creation.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract awards, ensuring optimal terms and service levels.
  • Embed compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across all procurement activities.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies are fully aligned with business priorities and growth plans.
  • Implement cost management and demand optimisation initiatives across customer and product lines.
  • Lead and develop a high-performance procurement team, fostering capability, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen supplier relationship management, performance reviews, and governance frameworks.
  • Drive standardisation and best practice across business units to achieve economies of scale and efficiency gains.
  • Leverage eSourcing and eProcurement tools to improve performance, transparency, and audit readiness.
  • Monitor external market trends, inflationary pressures, and supply chain risks to inform proactive decision-making.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (mandatory); degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline preferred.
  • 8+ years experience in procurement, including significant leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience in strategic procurement and supplier negotiations, ideally within aviation, airline catering, hospitality, or similarly complex industries.
  • Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of contractual terms, cost management, and ROI optimisation.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
  • Ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders and international suppliers.
  • Professional procurement certification (e.g. MCIPS or equivalent) is preferred.
