Job Description

Job Summary:

Plan and organize all communications activities in GCC regional markets outside the UAE. Providing experienced communications counsel to the business cluster leads and country heads in these markets; and by ensuring that communications activities are fully aligned with the scope and timescales of business development plans.

The role will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of an integrated communications approach across the full spectrum of communications (PR & media, internal, brand, events, digital, social, and stakeholder engagement), acting as the primary communications partner to regional business and functional leadership.

Key Responsibility:

  • Act as the primary communications advisor to regional leadership, providing strategic counsel on reputation, positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead the integration of corporate, brand, digital, social and campaign activity across the region to ensure consistency, clarity, and impact.
  • Set clear governance, priorities, and ways of working for communications delivery across countries and functions.
  • Oversee planning and execution of regional campaigns, announcements, and initiatives, ensuring quality control and alignment with brand and messaging standards.
  • Coordinate closely with the GCC SVP Communications and leadership team to ensure regional alignment, escalation management, and consistent narrative positioning.
  • Manage and guide agency partners and external vendors, ensuring strong briefing discipline, cost control, and performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Oversee performance measurement, reporting, and insight generation to continuously optimise communications effectiveness.
  • Anticipate and manage reputational risks and issues, working closely with leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of regional media, geopolitical, and industry developments to inform proactive communications planning.

Technical Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of integrated communications, including corporate, media, digital, and brand disciplines.
  • Ability to assess creative, digital, and content outputs with sound judgment and strategic context.
  • Strong briefing, agency management, and stakeholder engagement capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic, with experience advising senior leadership.
  • Experience overseeing social and digital platforms, performance measurement tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Google Analytics) and media / brand monitoring tools.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Essential Qualification: Degree level educational qualification, ideally (but not essentially) in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • Work Experience: 5 years experience in senior communications roles with regional or multi-market responsibility. Proven experience advising senior leaders and managing complex stakeholder environments. Strong background in corporate communications, reputation management, and integrated communications campaigns.
