Raya Trade; one of Raya's subsidiaries is hiring a Senior Manager (Retail Training).
What will you do
Designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training curricula (both in-person and digital) for all retail roles, from entry-level associates to store managers, aligning with overall business objectives and seasonal priorities.
Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to training effectiveness, such as monitoring changes in sales metrics, average transaction value (ATV), conversion rates, customer satisfaction scores, and employee retention following training deployment.
Developing specialized programs focused on leadership skills, operational excellence, coaching techniques, and talent management for District Managers and Store Managers to ensure they can effectively train and motivate their own teams.
Overseeing the creation and continuous refresh of all training materials (manuals, videos, e-learning modules), ensuring content is engaging, consistent with brand standards, and delivered through optimal modern channels (e.g., Learning Management Systems - LMS).
Leading and coordinating the full training schedule and execution plan for all New Store Openings (NSOs), ensuring newly hired staff are fully proficient in product knowledge, systems, and service standards before opening day.
Collaborating closely with Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure all retail staff receive timely, in-depth training on new product launches, features, and brand history, turning associates into knowledgeable brand advocates.
Managing the annual training budget, tracking expenses, and overseeing relationships with external training vendors, consultants, and technology providers (LMS platforms).
Acting as the central point for collecting feedback from the field (District and Store Managers) regarding training effectiveness, operational roadblocks, and skill gaps, and using this data to continuously refine and improve future training cycles.
