Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Marketing Senior Associate will support the execution of local store marketing initiatives and national campaigns, working closely with Operations and cross-functional teams to drive traffic, sales, and customer experience at store level. The role focuses on on-ground execution, coordination, and performance tracking, ensuring marketing plans are delivered efficiently and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand & Marketing Strategy

  • Assist in implementing short- and mid-term brand strategies to support transaction growth, sales, and profitability.
  • Support execution of market-wide campaigns and ensure proper adaptation at store level.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify opportunities and risks at local and regional levels.

Operation Excellence

  • Work closely with Operations to ensure marketing initiatives are operationally feasible and executed without disruption.
  • Coordinate with agencies on creative adaptations, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, quality, and brand standards are met.
  • Support operational teams with clear communication, guidelines, and tools for campaign execution.

Local Store Marketing & Execution

  • Support the planning and execution of local store marketing activities, promotions, and initiatives in close collaboration with the Operations team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate in-store execution of campaigns, materials, and activations across dine-in, takeaway, drive-thru, and delivery.
  • Act as a key point of contact between Marketing, Operations, agencies, and suppliers to ensure smooth rollout of initiatives.
  • Monitor store-level performance and provide insights and recommendations to optimize local marketing effectiveness.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure all marketing initiatives enhance the customer experience and deliver clear value propositions.
  • Support the development and execution of relevant, timely, and customer-focused messaging.
  • Consider customer and partner experience across all touchpoints, especially in-store and on-premise.

Commercial Growth & Innovation

  • Support the development and launch of new products, LTOs, and local initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to drive incremental traffic and sales through store-led activations.
  • Flag potential risks, operational constraints, and business opportunities early.

Marketing Performance & Reporting

  • Support tracking of campaign performance, sales impact, and ROI at store and market levels.
  • Assist in monitoring product profitability and campaign effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular updates on performance, learnings, and recommendations.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring KFC brand standards are consistently upheld at store level.

Qualifications & Skills

Education& Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • 34 years of experience in marketing, preferably within QSR, FMCG, retail, or agency environments.
  • Strong exposure to local/store marketing execution is highly preferred.
  • Experience working closely with Operations teams is a strong advantage.
  • GCC / MENA market experience is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
