The Role
Our client is looking for a Senior / Chief Marketing Officer to join the founding team and take full ownership of their marketing function, from brand strategy to revenue-driving execution. You'll build the playbook, the team, and the infrastructure from scratch, and you'll be measured on growth outcomes that directly impact the business.
The right person is equally comfortable crafting a brand narrative that resonates with first-time users and digging into CAC/LTV models to optimize paid spend. Creativity is also a must as this person will direct content creation. You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment where you can set the vision for a quarter and still ship a campaign by Friday.
What You'll Own
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute their overall marketing and growth strategy, aligned with fundraising milestones and product launches
- Own the go-to-market plan for launch, converting 10,000+ waitlist users into active, investing customers and building momentum beyond that initial base
- Set the marketing roadmap, OKRs, and budget allocation across brand, performance, content, and partnerships
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, feeding market insights back into product, pricing, and positioning decisions
- Build the marketing function from the ground up and establish processes as the company scales
Brand, Messaging & Positioning
- Finalise their brand identity, tone of voice, and narrative across every touchpoint. We need to ensure consistency with existing brand guidelines (typography, color palette, visual language, values)
- Develop their established positioning to differentiate them in a crowded fintech and proptech landscape
- Lead the creation of all external communications, from instagram ads to PR and thought leadership
Performance Marketing & Growth
- Build, manage, and optimize paid acquisition across channels: Meta (Instagram, Facebook), TikTok, Google Search/Display, and emerging platforms relevant to the UAE and GCC markets
- Support the full acquisition funnel: awareness interest signup first investment retention, with clear metrics and experimentation at each stage
- Design and run A/B tests, landing page experiments, and creative iterations to continuously improve conversion rates and lower CAC
- Develop and manage referral, loyalty, and reactivation programs that drive organic and repeat investment behavior
Content, Community & Partnerships
- Lead content strategy across social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X), email/CRM, and the blog building a content engine that educates, engages, and converts
- Identify and execute strategic partnerships, with influencers, financial educators, media outlets, and stakeholders fulling growth
- Manage PR and earned media to build credibility and awareness in the UAE market and beyond
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Build the marketing analytics stack and dashboards alongside the rest of the team, tracking CAC, LTV, ROAS, funnel conversion rates, channel attribution, and cohort performance
- Report regularly to founders and stakeholders on marketing performance, learnings, and strategic pivots
- Use data to make fast, informed decisions, killing what doesn't work and doubling down on what does
What they are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or demand generation roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity
- Proven track record of owning GTM or growth for a product, startup, or business unit, ideally from pre-launch or early-stage through scale
- Deep expertise in performance marketing: you've personally managed meaningful paid budgets, optimized funnels, and can speak fluently about attribution, bidding strategies, and creative testing
- Expertise in hand-on marketing across social media: you've personally run various Instagram, TikTok and other social media accounts for brands
- Experience in fintech, proptech, or regulated consumer products is a strong plus, you understand compliance considerations when marketing financial products
- Familiarity with the UAE/GCC market is a plus, including an understanding of local consumer behavior, the media landscape, and regulatory nuances
- Excellent communicator in English (written and verbal)
