As HIVE enters its next phase of growth, we are looking to appoint a Senior Marketing Manager to provide senior leadership across brand, marketing strategy, and growth while building on the strong creative and brand foundation already in place.
Purpose of Role:
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for owning marketing strategy, positioning, and performance across the HIVE platform and its brands.
This role exists to:
- Set strategic direction
- Drive commercial alignment
- Scale marketing capability
- Enable exceptional brand and creative execution through collaboration with the Brand & Creative Manager
The role requires a strategic thinker who deeply respects brand, creativity, and experience, and knows how to turn them into sustained growth.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Define and own the overall marketing strategy across HIVE's brands and assets
- Develop annual marketing plans aligned with business, development, and commercial objectives
- Set campaign priorities, budgets, and performance targets
- Act as the senior marketing voice within leadership discussions
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Implement brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market narratives
- Ensure brand strategy is clear, consistent, and scalable across markets and products
- Provide strategic direction and guardrails for brand expression without micromanaging creative execution
Campaigns, Growth & Performance
- Oversee demand generation, launches, and marketing-led growth initiatives
- Guide digital, performance, and CRM strategies (execution may be internal or outsourced)
- Monitor performance metrics and optimise strategy accordingly
- Ensure marketing supports leasing, sales, and long-term brand equity
Leadership & Team Enablement
- Lead, support, and empower the Brand & Creative Manager as the owner of creative and brand execution
- Create clarity between strategy and execution, allowing creative excellence to thrive
- Build and scale the marketing function over time as the business grows
- Manage agencies, consultants, and partners where required
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with Development, Property Management, Community, and Leadership teams
- Ensure marketing strategy reflects real product, experience, and operational realities
- Collaborate with Brand Experience to ensure lived experience reinforces brand promise
Relationship with Brand & Creative Manager
The Brand & Creative Manager:
- Owns creative execution, content, and brand expression
- Acts as the day-to-day brand guardian and creative lead
The Senior Marketing Manager:
- Owns strategy, prioritisation, performance, and alignment
- Sets direction, not creative detail
- Enables creativity rather than diluting or overriding it
This role is designed to amplify, not diminish, the impact of the Brand & Creative Manager.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing
- Strong strategic capability with a deep appreciation for brand and creative disciplines
- Experience in real estate, hospitality, lifestyle, or consumer-led brands preferred
- Proven ability to balance brand integrity with commercial outcomes
- Comfortable operating in a founder-led, entrepreneurial environment
- Collaborative, low-ego leader who empowers specialists rather than centralising everything
