Job Description

Manage inventory, optimize supply chain processes, and ensure critical materials are available for maintenance. Collaborate with global teams, lead continuous improvements, and support compliance - become a key player in aviation's leading supply chain.

Tasks

What you'll do:

  • Develop and manage material planning parameters and inventory levels for MRO items and critical spares
  • Monitor stock levels, performance metrics, and ensure timely material availability for production
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions in ERP; coordinate with procurement and evaluate supplier performance
  • Maintain accurate material master data and track material movements
  • Generate reports and dashboards for inventory and planning performance
  • Support export control compliance, classify materials, and clarify classification queries
  • Identify and implement opportunities for inventory optimization and process improvement
  • Participate in audits, support VMI/consignment/strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Train, onboard, and guide junior staff; review team performance and provide corrective guidance

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aviation preferred or equivalent experience
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and supplier communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy focus
  • Ability to work with numbers
  • Good planning and time management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of overall supply chain processes
  • Good knowledge of US Export Control regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Problem solving mindset with ability to handle shortages and escalations
  • Diligent and systematic approach to work
