Job Title: Senior Mechanical CAD Engineer MEP
Location: Dokki, Giza, Egypt
Working Hours: Full-time 8 hours/day
Job Summary:
The Senior Mechanical CAD Engineer will be responsible for leading and supporting the preparation of high-quality mechanical MEP CAD drawings, ensuring accurate, coordinated, and compliant design documentation. The role requires strong technical expertise in mechanical drafting, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to maintain standards and efficient workflows for timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, develop, and review detailed MEP mechanical drawings including HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with mechanical design engineers to translate design concepts into accurate CAD deliverables.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Update and maintain drawing logs, sheet lists, and other project documentation.
- Review architectural and structural drawings to identify clashes and ensure proper coordination.
- Apply revisions, redlines, and as-built updates as required.
- Support CAD workflows for efficient project delivery.
- Supervise and mentor junior CAD technicians to ensure drawing accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 58 years of proven experience in mechanical CAD for MEP projects.
- Excellent understanding of HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
