Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for various projects.
• Ensure all mechanical designs comply with regulations and client requirements.
• Perform detailed calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, from concept through to completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure they are adhered to.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure mechanical systems and components meet specified standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain project schedules.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and manuals.
• Generate regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and potential risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience from consulting offices is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proven track record in leading and delivering complex mechanical engineering projects.
• Proficiency in mechanical engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and HVAC design software.
