Procurement Execution
- Source and evaluate mechanical systems, equipment, and materials.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, tenders, and conduct bid evaluations.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure best value.
Supplier & Contract Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with mechanical vendors and contractors.
- Ensure suppliers meet technical specifications, cost targets, and delivery schedules.
- Support contract drafting, review, and compliance.
Technical & Design Coordination
- Review mechanical drawings and specifications to align procurement requirements.
- Coordinate with design and project teams on material and equipment selection.
- Suggest value engineering options where feasible.
Project Support
- Manage procurement schedules in line with project milestones.
- Monitor deliveries and resolve supply chain or logistics issues.
- Provide updates and reports to Procurement and Project Managers.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure procured mechanical items meet technical, safety, and quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance assessments.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation as per company policies
Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Experience Required5-7 years of procurement experience in the construction or engineering sector, with a strong focus on electrical systems, equipment, and materials.
Professional Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) – an advantage.
Preferred Requirements
- Preferably experienced in the real estate industry or related sectors like construction, property management, or development.
Language
- Very good to excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Computer Skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel for data analysis, Word for documentation, PowerPoint for reporting).
- Good understanding of AutoCAD to review architectural drawings and material specifications.
