Monitor and inspect all mechanical installations (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, pumps, piping systems, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and issue quality control reports.
Supervise testing, commissioning, and balancing of mechanical systems.
Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests related to mechanical works.
Ensure all works comply with local codes, international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, ASME, etc.), and safety requirements.
Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances with contractors and subcontractors.
Coordinate with consultants, site engineers, and contractors to resolve mechanical-related technical issues.
Maintain comprehensive quality documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and test certificates.
Support project handover activities ensuring mechanical quality compliance and full documentation.
Guide and mentor junior engineers and site supervisors in applying quality procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 4 - 7 years of experience in mechanical quality control within large-scale construction or real estate projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems and related standards.
Solid understanding of QA/QC practices and project documentation.
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is a plus.
