JOB PURPOSE:
Liaise with and work alongside architects, engineers, construction managers, supervisors, planners, surveyors, and subcontractors. Share responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of materials and human resources to ensure efficient site operations and adherence to project specifications.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide technical advice on-site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives to ensure proper control of site installations.
- Carry out setting out, leveling, and surveying of the site to verify plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
- Ensure all materials used and work performed are in accordance with project specifications.
- Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery to site.
- Manage, monitor, and interpret contract design documents supplied by clients or architects.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and quantity surveyors, and attend regular progress meetings.
- Supervise and monitor site labor and subcontractors to ensure proper daily site management.
- Organize site facilities and resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Oversee quality control to ensure all assigned activities meet specifications.
- Prepare reports and resolve unexpected technical issues to ensure timely and accurate submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: 67 years of experience in MEP projects related to landscaping or infrastructure.
